ABOUT.

I’m passionate about eroticism and integrating it into our lives.

Here in the US our culture splits eroticism and sexuality off from the rest of life. Blame it on our (puritanical) roots.

I became a sex therapist because some of my clients needed more than good relationship skills to have the sex they wanted.

Pleasure is our birthright and here we’re going to find it.

I enjoy hearing people’s stories and sharing my own. As my fabulous teacher Barbara Carrellas says, “It takes community to be this weird.” Welcome.

MY BACKGROUND IN THERAPY TERMS

  • I worked through my Oedipal complex, by running my third generation family business for a while.
  • I’m in long term recovery from Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Alcohol Abuse.
  • I sorted out my Dependent Personality Disorder through several romantic relationships, some medication, and a lot of talk therapy.
  • I’m breaking the cycle of multigenerational trauma through an eclectic mix of self-compassion and medicine journeys.
  • I discovered my erotic self – a polyamorous kinkster – through my own sex therapy.
  • I’m mending my love/lust split through my most beautiful love. We that grew up in the West all have that same split. Sexual healing isn’t just a metaphor or my favorite Marvin Gaye classic. It’s real. Sex can heal the love
  • Sexuality has provided me a path back to spirituality after years of living mostly in my head.

TRAJECTORY

Cultivating and sharing wisdom is my driving motivation. I want to gain more or it and share it. Here in my tiny corner of the Internet you’ll find the questions that are catching my interest and the conversations worth having about sex, gender, culture, healing, and pleasure.

I invite to join in. You can listen; you can answer surveys; you can read about my journey toward Devine masculinity.

If you’re a new therapist you can get supervision from me. If you’re a new client I can design a therapeutic experience for you.
